Last Drone of February

This one uses Timbre's spectrogram sample and can be found here: freesound
Looped and pretty much uses the same effects as before, but with a ton of inverted feedback on the modulator. Comb filters and lots of reverb.

Another Drone from same Sample

This is really quite simple. It sounds like a stretched sample, but it's actually just looped, with the modulator and delay setting on dtblkfx that is causing the change. Seems to work very well on short samples of around one or two seconds. Not much on the high end due to the resample effect. Anyway, it's easier to explain with pictures. Modulation isn't something I understand entirely, I just go by my ears. Oh, and there's comb and reverb on top of it.

One Sample Processed

More monotonous droning. Again, one sample processed with dtblkfx and sonitus modulator. I couldn't think of a title, so just named it after one of the tags from the sample. Sample used: here

Modulated Loops Delayed With Dtblkfx

Something that happened within 10 minutes (can you tell?) that I might develop further at some stage. Four more samples from candlegravity Modulated with Sonitus modulator (phase 6), delayed and effected by DtBlkFx, some Virsyn TDesign on one track, Sonitus reverb, Waves L1. It's repetitive and monotonous, but it's just a starting point and I kinda like it anyway. I was going to put it on freesound, but it seems almost a bit compositional - and I use that term very loosely. Anyway, if it's any use in its current state, feel free to download from the link below. Ah, now I've said too much for a sound blog.

Three Samples Processed Three Different Ways

For me, normally winter is a time for playing with sound, but for some reason not this one. This is the first thing completed in almost a year. These three things are made from three samples by candlegravity of freesound. Actually, #3 uses bent bass hit also. That's it.

I don't really like these except for track three, because it's funny and reasonably free. But, it's been a year, so I excuse myself. Here are the samples: 1 2 3 (bent bass hit 1 2 3)

The Kitchen Sink

The pink slime is, from what I can find out, Serratia Marcesens. A good sign that there's not much chlorine in my water, and that I'm a lazy slob. It's supposed to be harmless, but I'm not quite sure about the other bacteria there.
